Hewo. I haven't blogged for a loooooong time now, and now, I want to, so I will.
I'm hypertoooting on twitter now, and it's fun.

Don't know if you've heard, but apparently, Chennai is hosting some lame-o fashion week. I mean, come on! Have you ever seen ANYONE in Chennai who has good eyesight? I'm talking about the socialites, the elite crowd, the 'social butterflies'. If you ask me, they're more like social caterpillars in serious need of metamorphosis.


Basically people say that it will be a show in which 40 fashion designers, famous Indian designers , international designers and upcoming designers from India and abroad will be showcasing their collections. And it will be like a "White Collar affair and entry is through invitation only. Only crème de la crème of the society shall make it to the coveted list. The Event will have a very high glamour and glitz quotient. The audience at the shows will comprise of fashion critics, fashion editors, buyers, corporate honchos, page3 community, models and film stars."

Crème de la crème of the society? Right, so, who are these Creme de la creme? Maamis who wear madisaars with stilettos? Or drag queens like Karun whateverhisnameis? Or maybe, they're the maamas who have zippers on their veshtis!

But seriously, if they have got Shane and Falguni Peacock and Vikram Phadnis lined up for the finale shows of Saturday and Friday, respectively, they're aiming big. And there's a grand finale too. I want to get tickets for either the Saturday or the finale show.

Moving on, basically there's this movie called Thee, the original police. Wonder if anyone's seen it? Well, I had the immense pleasure of seeing that top-class movie on Sun TV yesterday, and I'm still not able to stop gaping at the idiocy of it all.


I only started seeing it halfway though, thank god I didn't see it fully. I mean, Sundar C's face isn't very handsome to look at. And apparently he paraded the streets naked in the movie. Which doesn't say much, except that the man behind the script and the story? He's a real tubelight.


And apparently, since he was an MLA or something, he got to rub chilly powder into villains' butts. Fascinating ideas, huh?


I guess that's what they mean when they say Variety is the spice of life.
Those villains got a good taste of it, I'm sure.
