Farting is the new black, and its all the rage with the politicians.

I got back from Kumbakonam yesterday. Very nice trip. Best part? Well, basically we always took this route every time[we make yearly trips] but unfortunately, there was a sign in front of the bridge[on our route] saying something like "No heavy vehicles allowed, 2-wheelers can go, and cars have to drive really fast to get through" or something like that. Anyways, we we're like, okay let's take a detour, but it was a 60 km detour. So what we did was we went over another bridge, after asking people for directions, but at the end of the bridge, there was no road. Nope. Nada. Zip.

We spotted people in tractors coming over to us and asking stuff like "Where are you going?". In tamil, obviously. So we're like "kumbakonam", and they went, "Well, you can hitch up to us and we can go cross-terrain to the other side of the bridge".

So we're like"Okay, how much?"

He says Rs.300, and after a hurried conference, we say okay.

My dad made this offer. He was like, "Come, let's ride on the tractor". First I thought he was joking. But then he asked me again, and I said OK, and I told my mom that I was gonna ride on the tractor with my dad.

Bad move.

 We rode in the vehicle. Cha. But it was pretty good, because it was a Tempo Traveller, and it went up and down like a trampoline. I rolled from my seat to the one across, and landed with a laugh and a pillow[ahh..]

And also, I saw 3 owls.
