Hi Hi! I had THE most awesome time yesterday, from 8 pm to 9:45-10 or so. I went to my cousin's place, where she had a mehendi function, because she was getting married. And they said dancing, singing, etc, were involved. I thought I wouldn't participate, but I definitely did. I danced, didn't sing. From 8:45 to 9:45. And hour of dancing! Man, that was fun. My cousins we're all there and they danced as well. Super treat for us. And snacks and dinner was there as well. And this might seem surprising but we danced non-stop. Any song, you name it, we did it. I danced with the mehendi not taken of like many of my cousins. Dance all night wasn't my goal, until I started. And then we did achieve it, sort of. We danced a lot, till it was time to go home. I think that was a good mission accomplished.
Oh, and I finished my PET(Primary English Test). It was better than last time, we didn't have Mousy 2. Cha.

7 demented thoughts :D:
Is this a South Indian wedding? Because I've never seen anyone ever dance before, during or after a wedding in my family.
well, duh! It's a south indian wedding! What's your IQ, anyway?
@neon
Yea, it is a proper iyengar wedding. My cousin wanted to have a mehendi function (north style) so this happened. It was a major party, considering we had expected it to be a little more subdued. Hell, we even made our paatis dance. :D
It was an experiment of sorts, but it worked really awesome. :D
damn most weddings i've been to are konkani. verrr verr bore.

I've heard of mallu weddings having bhangra, but mehendi in an high-and-gear wedding is interestin!
